Is There Any Downtime With Aveli™ and How Long Will It Take To Recover?
There is little downtime to no associated with this cellulite treatment. Most patients can even drive themselves home after the treatment. However, we advise patients to take it easy and avoid strenuous activity for 24 to 48 hours post-op. Exercise should also be avoided for up to two weeks after treatment.
Patients may experience bruising or tenderness as well as clear or pink fluid at the insertion points for the first 1-2 days that can be absorbed by gauze or pads.
Most symptoms involving discomfort should go away within one to two weeks of the procedure. Common symptoms like swelling and bruising will typically resolve within 30 days.
