What Are Emsella™ Treatments?
BTL Emsella™ treatments use High-Intensity Focused ElectroMagnetic Energy (HIFEM) targeted to stimulate your pelvic floor muscles to contract. Your pelvic floor muscles span from your pubic bone to your tailbone and have a few key responsibilities: They protect and keep your internal organs in place, stabilize your core, and assist with urination, defecation, and sexual intimacy.
Your pelvic floor should be able to easily contract, lift, and relax. However, age, pregnancy, surgery, and injury can make it difficult for your pelvic floor muscles to function correctly, resulting in urinary incontinence. Emsella™ treatments are great for strengthening your pelvic floor beyond what traditional kegel exercises can do.

What To Expect From Emsella™ Treatment
When you get Emsella™ treatments, you will comfortably sit, fully clothed, in a specialized chair as it stimulates your pelvic floor with thousands of supramaximal muscle contractions. The results of these contractions are equivalent to about 11,000 kegel exercises but without as much time and with little to no effort required.
Treatment sessions are painless and don’t need any anesthetics or sedation. You can expect to feel tingling and muscle contractions, but the entire process should feel comfortable and pain-free.
Each treatment session lasts about half an hour, and there is no downtime or recovery time needed, so you can go right back to school or work. The typical treatment plan consists of two treatments a week for approximately three weeks. Most patients start to see and feel results after the first two treatments, and some even report noticing a difference after only one treatment.
