What To Expect From Juvederm Injections
During treatment, a small amount of Juvederm gel is injected into the skin. To ensure maximum comfort, the needles used are exceptionally thin, and a numbing cream may be applied to the areas to be treated before injection.
For the first 24 hours following Juvederm injection treatment, avoid strenuous exercise and touching or massaging the treated area. Swelling may occur and generally resolves by itself. Any bruising that may occur can be hidden with concealer.
Avoid unnecessary sun, heat and cold exposure, and products that contain alcohol for the first two weeks after Juvederm injections. It is important to wear sunscreen on the treated area.
