What To Expect From LaseMD Ultra Treatment

​​LaseMD Ultra treatments are laser treatments that heat targeted areas of the skin with minimal downtime. Your initial consultation will include:

  • An evaluation of the treatment area
  • Collection of your medical history
  • A discussion of your treatment goals
  • Creation of a customized plan

During your treatment, you may be given a topical numbing cream for comfort. The laser will then be passed over your skin, and you may feel some mild warmth. After your LaseMD Ultra treatment, your skin may feel tight and dry, similar to a sunburn. Red, tight, dry, and flaking skin may last for five to seven days. By day seven, your skin should be fully exfoliated, leaving you with a smooth and beautiful complexion.

LaseMD Ultra is a laser treatment using non-ablative laser energy to target areas of the skin with heat energy. Stimulating the production of collagen and elastin, skin is rejuvenated at the cellular level. LaseMD Ultra treatments are resurfacing treatments that do not remove the entire surface of the skin, resulting in quicker healing.

LaseMD Ultra treatments are generally tolerable, with a feeling of mild heat or pinching on certain areas of the face. Depending on the type of treatment, your technician may apply a numbing cream on the area being treated for added comfort.

Depending on the type of treatment, there may be little to no downtime. Lighter treatments may require one to two days of downtime, while more aggressive therapies may require five to seven days.

LaseMD Ultra treatment results can be seen immediately and may continue to improve as collagen levels increase over the next six months.

Results may last anywhere from six to twelve months.
